Where do I start? Constance is leaving for London in 8 days. It still hasn’t quite hit me yet. I think once she’s gone the loneliness and missing here will set in. I have really been enjoying her being done with work and having time to hang out before she leaves.

I’ve started going to a new church. I have man reasons for this and it’s actually been coming for a while now. I’ve been attending H2O. I’ve been going there for over a month now. So far I love it. I haven’t connected in yet but am about to look into getting into a small group and helping out with the band.

It is definitely a different church. They bought out a bar in downtown Orlando and meet there. It’s quite a interesting setting for a church service. They have a pit area where they have standard chair rows. Then around it on a higher level there are tables with stools and candles on the tables. Then upstairs there is a bar/rock concert type of balcony with stools. It feels like a night club or a bar inside. They always have coffee brewed and ready to make and don’t meet until 11:00. It’s great.

I loved the teaching. I really agree with their general living principles and what it means to be a Christian. I would probably disagree with some of their theology but they hit on the gospel ever week and really preach the truth from the Bible.
I’m excited to get involved and it’s the first time I’ve felt passionate about church since college. I’m for sure going to get involved with the band.
In other things I’m really getting into Disc Golf again. I took my roommate Ted (uber-serious ultimate Frisbee player) out to play who fell in love with it. Since then we’ve gone a number of times and have both become attached to the sport and get at least 2 rounds in a week. We’ve started to get a recorded handicap so we can compete in a weekly Sunday competition. I’m excited to improve.

I’ve been trying to lose weight and exercise routinely for a while now and thanks to Ted am starting to accomplish that. We are on week five of a program called “air alert.” It’s goal is increase your jumping height by a number of inches. It is quite an intense leg/jumping workout. I have a love/hate relationship with it. But I’m already losing weight, feeling better and my legs are looking awesome. Plus, I actually can jump higher and jump more accurately (improved balance).

Last thing I feel like blogging about is my dog. Sammie is doing wonderful. She is an amazing puppy. She is a big mass of muscle now. She is getting so big! She can yank so hard when playing tug of war that it hurts my arm. I am ready for her to be done teething. Her toys don’t last more than a day. Fortunately she doesn’t destroy anything other than what we give her to destroy. She is well behaved. We are raising/training her well. I have a great story about her despise of policemen, but thats for another blog post. Hopefully this will get some of you who I don’t talk to much an update on my life
